tHE AWARD WINNING PRODUCTION FEATURING MAGICIAN AND FRIEND PAUL NATHAN IN ITS SECOND YEAR AT EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL. I PLAY GUITAR AND CO-STAR IN THIS THEATRICAL PRODUCTION OF LIFE, LOVE, LOSS AND REGRET with music and magic!
I started here in 1998. This is an amazing recording studio. I have worked with many amazing producers, artists and engineers and have made many albums as producer, engineer and musician at this, number 1, recording studio. Mooka is family! This place is a perfect mix of vintage and modern recording. Real live chambers, real plates, real tape and the best monitoring, digital conversion, archiving, training and vibe, you will ever find in a studio. Primus, Tom Waits, Michelle Shocked, Neko Case, UFO, Husky Huskolds, Craig Street, Taj Mahal, the Autumns, Zakir Hussain, Count's Jam Band, Stanton Moore, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Susana Baca are some sessions I worked. Fearless Heart, Foregound, Diego's Umbrella, How to Win at Life, Carl Lee, Matt alber, World Zoo and many more...independent productions. This is where I can really make you the record you want!
I am house sound here! Beautiful, super well kept venue. A huge history, amazing acoustics, wonderful board and sound! Great production, Steve. I love being a part of this world class venue!
The deYoung and Legion of Honor museums. My second home and production house. These museums not only house the best art collections in California, but, rival the top museums in the world in so many ways. These two museums also house two amazing theaters and several venues including a huge public space that holds near 6000 people. I am a proud key member of the production staff. Recording, live sound, lights and technical direction of the events here are my "regular" job and duty to the public of San Francisco. I know...fucking..rough life...
Recently developed an artist relationship with guitar manufacturer Tradition Guitars and received my first guitar! An amazing Telecaster! These guitars are absolutely awesome! Thanks to everyone at Tradition Guitars!
